I am so grateful to the staff as they have gone out of their way to make the sumptuous veg food despite they don’t have any veg on their menu. My friends and I enjoyed the vibrant ambience and the hospitality. I was delighted when they dropped the hint about adding the veg cuisines in their existing menu. Looking forward to enjoy the new additions there!

Discovered this epic restaurant and new experience has opened our taste bud once again. We were group of 5 and we were asked where we wanted to seated and gave us the floor seating of our choice. The staffs were so helpful with food allergies and choice of food. We ordered small Butt special BQ platter and two chicken biryani and the portion size was enough to fill us all. The food was just so delicious, the rice was so rich with flavours and the meat was so tender and had so many spices in it. The platter was balanced with rice and good amount of meat! Will definitely recommend and will visit again to try other dishes too!!!

Excellent place i would really recommend everyone so delicious food tasty staff are very friendly knowledgeable i personally give 5 star rating so yummy

Succulent and tender meat, mixed grill at 47 being 23.50 p/h felt a good price as between two it’s very difficult to finish, really cooked well, they also have a stellar signature (Organic Chicken) Charsi Karahi which is also a stand out. Authentic Pakistani cuisine. A must go, made far more accessible for London via the Elizabeth line.

I recently dined at Butt Karahi and was thoroughly impressed. The Roghni Naan was freshly baked and buttery, a perfect complement to the meal. The Lamb Karahi was outstanding, with tender lamb and a rich, flavorful sauce. The Mix Grill platter featured a delicious assortment of perfectly marinated and grilled meats. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Butt Karahi offers an authentic and delightful Pakistani dining experience that I highly recommend.

Although it was busy we were seated within 10 mins and the service was quick. We ordered the Butt Special BBQ platter. It came with a wide variety of meats each had it's own unique flavor and it was big enough to easily feed 4 if not 5 people. We were also recommended the lamb karahi which I enjoyed a lot. The lamb was tender and had a mild but creamy sauce. Would definitely get it if you go. Overall a good experience.

Butt Karahi Southall London UK Located in the heart of Southall, Butt Karahi is a popular spot for those seeking authentic Pakistani cuisine. Known for its traditional flavors and vibrant atmosphere, this restaurant has earned a loyal following, particularly for its mouth-watering BBQ dishes and signature karahi. Ambiance and Service The moment you step into Butt Karahi, you’re greeted with a casual, family-friendly atmosphere that reflects the warmth of traditional Pakistani hospitality. The seating is comfortable, with spacious tables suited for groups and families. The decor is simple but inviting, with a focus on providing a homely dining experience. The staff is courteous, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes for those unfamiliar with the menu. BBQ Platter One of the standout offerings on the menu is the BBQ Platter, which is a feast for meat lovers. This generous platter includes a variety of grilled meats, each cooked to perfection over a traditional charcoal grill, ensuring a smoky flavor that adds to the richness of the dishes. The BBQ Platter typically includes: 1. Chicken Seekh Kebabs – Tender and well-spiced, with a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The minced chicken is cooked evenly, giving it a succulent texture. 2. Beef Seekh Kebabs – A bit spicier than the chicken version, these kebabs are full of robust flavors, with the right amount of herbs and spices. 3. Lamb Chops – These are a highlight of the platter. The lamb chops are marinated overnight, which makes them incredibly flavorful and juicy. Cooked to a medium-rare finish, they have a delicious charred exterior while remaining tender inside. 4. Chicken Tikka – This boneless chicken is marinated in a rich blend of yogurt, spices, and herbs, making it both tangy and spicy. Grilled to a crispy exterior while maintaining a juicy center, this is one of the crowd favorites. 5. Fish Tikka – For seafood lovers, the fish tikka is a delightful addition. Mildly spiced and perfectly grilled, the fish is soft, flaky, and not too overpowering, balancing the meat-heavy platter nicely. 6. Malai Boti – This creamy, mildly spiced chicken dish is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. The cream-based marinade gives it a rich, savory flavor that complements the spicier items on the platter. The BBQ Platter comes with a side of fresh salad, naan or roti, and a variety of dipping sauces, including raita (a yogurt-based sauce) and chutney, which enhance the overall experience. The portion sizes are generous, making this platter an excellent choice for sharing among two to three people. Other Menu Highlights While the BBQ Platter is a must-try, Butt Karahi is also known for its namesake dish—the Karahi. The chicken or lamb karahi is cooked in a rich tomato-based gravy with aromatic spices, ginger, and fresh coriander. The karahi is served piping hot in a wok-style dish, with naan or rice to soak up the flavorful gravy. The balance of spices is impeccable, and it’s not overly greasy, which can often be a concern with karahi dishes. Price and Value The pricing at Butt Karahi is reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. The BBQ Platter, which can easily serve two to three people, offers excellent value for money, especially for the variety of meats included. Main dishes like the karahi are also fairly priced, making it an affordable option for families or groups. Final Verdict Butt Karahi in Southall is a go-to spot for anyone craving authentic Pakistani BBQ and traditional dishes. The BBQ Platter, with its variety of perfectly grilled meats, is undoubtedly the highlight and well worth trying. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a hearty meal with friends or indulge in flavorful Pakistani cuisine, Butt Karahi delivers on taste, value, and an overall enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended, especially for meat lovers!

We visited here on a Saturday evening, and the place was booming, it was so busy people were waiting outside for a table, and we felt instantly pleased that this place was going to be good to dine in. We travelled over an hour to get here and managed to park on a side street. Even though the carpet area can't be reserved the owner took our details down and asked us to be patient with the waiting time. The owner even went out of her way to seat my eldery mother in law whilst we waited and kept apologising. Once seated, the area was comfortable and vibrant, the decor is truly amazing (unfortunately we did want to sit where the waterfall wall was but that carpet area seated around 15 people and we were only 5) We placed our order whilst we waited, so that when we were seated within minutes we were served all our dishes! They were hot, sizzling and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There were 2 toilets available upstairs and a sink to wash hands with before going upstairs. There are more tables available in the basement. The entertainment was of mixed punjabi/bollywood songs and at the right volume. The lighting was good and the place looked clean and tidy. The staff made sure to clean up tables/carpet area asap. The food was 10/10!!! we loved every single dish, we had 1 normal chapli kebab and 1 chapli kebab with egg the portion size was huge and very tasty! We also had the special chicken karahi (organic), charsi lamb karahi, kabuli pilau, naan x2 with some amazing chutneys and a jug of lemon mint soda which was such a refreshing drink!!! we weren't able to finish the food, so we packed it and took it home. The portion size was really good for 5 people, my kids enjoyed the food as well and it is family friendly, which is always a bonus. We have tried many afghani restaurants in london this has to be by far one of the best places we have ever visited. Special thank you to the owner for being apologetic and accommodating and very friendly. It's not always that the owner is very down to earth and empathetic towards their customers, she went above and beyond and made the whole experience very memorable. We will return again in the near future :)
